De werkgroep Neritidae is momenteel niet actief.
Ze bestudeert de mariene familie van de Neritidae, een eerder kleine familie met over het algemeen eerder kleine, bolvormige schelpen met een diameter van typisch ongeveer 2 cm.
Deze werkgroep voert een revisie van deze familie uit, waarbij al de soorten opnieuw onder de loep worden genomen op basis van de originele beschrijvingen en afbeeldingen, later gepubliceerde literatuur, vergelijkingsmateriaal uit eigen collecties en, indien mogelijk, foto’s van het type-materiaal.Â
